In August of 2001 Dave Matthews Band concluded a lengthy tour in support of their latest album, Everyday, released earlier that year. This Salt Lake City performance features those newer from the Everyday album such as I Did It and What You Are, alongside the fan favorites Grey Street and Bartender. Familiar tunes like Granny and Don’t Drink the Water showcase a band in musical lockstep with each other and their fans after a solid year of everything from studios to stadiums.

This album is awesome. The only thing that disappointed me as me and my wife were at this show, and there was a point where Dave pointed up to our section and told us we were having a good time and we were crazy. I wish they would’ve left that on the album but besides that awesome.

The band's performance was locked in, even Boyd was in tune. It's a shame Dave's voice was so hoarse this late in the tour.
The mix is the highlight of this release - one of the best sounding recordings in the entire live Trax series.
Here's hoping they finally release 5/22/1999 or 5/25/1999 with the same level of care for the mix
